Customised Maps

Each client’s requirements are different.  We’ve been asked to produce wall displays of  specific regions, maps for business reports, brochures and advertisements, maps of golf courses and jogging routes, and many others.  The possibilities are endless  -  if it’s a map, we can create it!

Here are a few examples:

Location maps.  Ours are not extracts from existing mapping, but are originals showing all routes to the location  together with relevant signage, landmarks etc.  Unlike most other location maps, ours deliberately exclude detail that does not help the visitor, such as roads they will not travel.  From an A4 faxmap to a small colour map for a website, just ask for a quote.

Wall maps.  We can take any section of mapping to create an area specific to your needs.  This might be, for example, your sales area fifty miles around Milton Keynes, with concentric circles at 20 and 30 miles radius;  several OS maps joined together then cropped to make a single map centred on your home or business;  a map of Europe showing your overseas offices;  and so on.  These display maps, laminated for protection and longevity, can be mounted on a solid backing board or on pinboard, and you have a choice of framed or unframed.

“You Are Here” plans.  Clear plans of even a complex site  -  a hospital, university,  town centre, theme park etc  -  help visitors locate their position and find their way.  We can produce these as conventional floor plans or use 3D mapping to create an easily-understood image.  We can work from architects’ plans, your own sketches or our own on-site research.

Street maps.  Directory publishers, estate agents and many others need street plans which do not breach copyright, and come to us to create original maps.  We also produce conventional maps (e.g. of Greek islands) for well-known publishers.

All our maps are stored electronically so they can easily be updated at any time.
