About Tyndall Maps

Ten years ago Tyndall Maps was best-known for publishing colourful cartoon maps, such as The Bristol Poster and Silicon Valley UK, each of which ran into fourteen annual editions. 

We have published other kinds of maps too, including the award-winning "An Artist's Aerial View of Central London", which is still in worldwide demand although it pre-dates construction of the Dome and the Millennium Wheel.

Increasingly clients were approaching us to create maps of all kinds, until we barely had time to generate new products for ourselves.  Our pioneering Faxmap service has been used by virtually all the major hotel chains (Hilton, Marriott, etc) as well as educational establishments and businesses of all kinds.

We have generated all sorts of customised maps  -  of golf courses, islands, villages, conference rooms, fire exits, countries, etc  -  in many different styles.  In addition, we have produced wall-mounted maps in all scales and sizes.

Among our prestigious clients are government departments, health authorities, universities, publishers and many blue-chip companies.

Our website lists the customised services we offer, as well as our comprehensive supermarket of maps, travel books and related products.

Tyndall Maps is run by Nick Reynish, BA, PGCE, MEd, whose former careers include teacher, expedition leader, hotelier, photographer, cartographer, marketing consultant and advertising executive.
