Terms and Conditions – Online Shop
1. In the Conditions that follow, “the Customer” refers to a person or organisation purchasing goods; “the Suppliers” refers to Tyndall Maps; “the Goods” refers to items purchased via this website by the Customer.
2. While the Suppliers make every endeavour to ensure that information displayed on this website is up to date, they make no guarantee that the details shown are accurate or complete. The Suppliers will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from the Customer’s use or inability to use this website and the online purchasing area.
3. The Suppliers reserve the right to change listed prices without notice. The price charged to the Customer shall be the price quoted at the time of order.
4. Title to the Goods will pass to the Customer upon delivery. All Goods including delivery charges must be paid for in full at the time of order. Prices quoted are in pounds sterling and include VAT where relevant.
5. Placing an order which is confirmed by email by the Suppliers constitutes a contract under English law.
6. In keeping with the Data Protection Act 1998 any information about the Customer is stored on the Supplier’s systems or in the case of online payments held by WorldPay on the Supplier’s behalf. The Suppliers will not pass details of the Customer to any other Third Party.
7. Any Goods that are faulty or deemed by the Customer to be not fit for purpose or not matching their description may be returned in their original condition within 14 days of order for a full refund. Any Goods made or customised for the Customer cannot be refunded.
8. The design and contents of this website are protected by copyright which belongs to the Suppliers and their website designers Dolphin Promotions Ltd.

Terms and Conditions – Customised Maps
1. In the Conditions that follow, “the Client” refers to a person, firm or company commissioning a design and/or purchasing supplies; “the Suppliers” refers to Tyndall Maps; “the Goods” refers to the design commissioned by and/or supplies purchased by the Client.
2. Placing an order confirms acceptance of the Suppliers' terms and conditions of business and specifically excludes any terms and conditions proffered by the Client.
3. Any order received verbally by the Suppliers shall be confirmed in writing by them and in the absence of a signed order from the Client the Suppliers' confirmation of order shall be sufficient evidence of the contract and of the details of the order unless a countermanding instruction by the Client in writing shall be received by the Supplier within ten days of the date of the Suppliers'
confirmation of order.
4. Any cancellation of the Client's order must be received within ten days of the initial order. If the Client cancels an order for any reason work done prior to cancellation will be charged to the Client.
5. Any variation of the Client's order may incur an additional charge in respect of any additional costs incurred including extra work, overtime, and unscheduled delivery costs.
6. Any completion dates quoted by the Suppliers or their representatives are guidelines only and do not constitute a commitment to supply the Goods by that date.
7. Orders to the value of £1000 or less will normally be billed as an initial deposit with the balance due within 30 days of completion. Orders costing £1000 or more will normally include in addition one or more intermediate payments reflecting time committed or work done to date.
8. Each invoice will clearly show payment terms, and payment must be made within the time specified.
9. Any discount agreed shall be forfeit if the account is not settled on or before the date due for payment, the full fee then becoming payable. Any account more than 30 days overdue shall incur a surcharge of 3% per month calculated from the date when payment fell due.
10. The Suppliers reserve the right to postpone delivery or to halt work if payments are not made in accordance with these terms.
11. The price for the Client's initial order shall be the price quoted at the date of the agreement. The price for subsequent orders shall be at the price ruling at the date of order. Travel disbursements are normally charged.
12. Proofs where appropriate will be submitted to the Client for approval. Any correction required must be notified in writing to the Suppliers within seven days of submission and in the absence of such notification the proof will be deemed to be approved. No responsibility will be taken by the Suppliers for errors in proofs approved by the Client. Authors' corrections will be charged.
13. If any substantial error or omission in the Goods discrepant from the approved proof is notified to the Suppliers within thirty days of publication, the Suppliers will make a reasonable adjustment to the price of the Goods but no adjustment will be made if the error or omission has not materially detracted from an advertisement or other publication.
14. Except as above the Suppliers shall be under no liability to the Client for any loss or damage arising from failure or delay in publication or error or omission.
15. All artwork prepared by or for the Suppliers is protected by copyright and may not in whole or part be reproduced or used without permission. Artwork must not be altered in any way at any time except by the Suppliers. When reproduced in any format, artwork must include the copyright symbol © and the following text: Tyndall Maps tel: 01934 744100.
